Leider gibt es regionale Exklusivtitel bei iTunes. Die kann man dann nicht runterladen, außer, man wohnt in dem entsprechenden Land. Es gibt aber die Möglichkeit sich die Samples anzuhören: Öffnet iTunes und wählt im Music Store unten ein anderes Land. Dann könnt ihr zumindest stöbern, aber eben nix kaufen. Beim Versuch sich dort einzuloggen, bekommt man eine entsprechende Fehlermeldung.

Nur weil die Kritik etwas detaillierter und fachlicher ist, ist es noch lange keine Phrasendrescherei. Das ist vielleicht der Unterschied zwischen den amerikanischen und deutschen Rezensionen. Natürlich kann man das mit jedem anderen Komponist, auch John Williams oder Jerry Goldsmith, machen. In diesem Thread dreht es sich doch ausschließlich um James Horner und nicht um John Williams oder Jerry Goldsmith. Wenn du also eine Diskussion über einen anderen Komponisten anstreben willst, dann bitte. Aber nicht in diesem Thread.

Ich schrieb es bereits in folgendem Thema: Allgemeiner Umgang im Forum Bitte geht respektvoll miteinander um. Bei den hier gängigen Diskussionen, gehe ich von einem entsprechenden geistigen Alter aus, dass es ermöglicht, sich auf normalem Niveau auszudrücken, ohne dabei ständig gegen die Aussagen anderer zu wettern. Zum Thema Bashing: Egal wer oder was gebasht wird, ab sofort ist Schluss damit. Einige scheinen wirklich keine Kritik an James Horner kommen lassen zu wollen. Aus Sicht eines Fans ist das sicherlich begreiflich, aber man muss sich nunmal vor Augen führen, dass seine Musik im Film mit Sicherheit seine Wirkung hat, aber im Vergleich mit anderen Werken, durchaus Mängel aufweist. Einige scheinen da den Unterschied noch nicht bemerkt zu haben. Was die Äußerung von ABC betrifft: Jedem steht es frei sich zu registrieren und an den Diskussionen teilzunehmen. Solange die Meinungen begründet werden, besteht überhaupt kein Grund sich darüber aufzuregen. Also nochmals: Hört mit dem gegenseitigen verbalen "Gekloppe" auf oder es werden einige User etwas Pause vom Forum bekommen.

Der hatte damit gar nix zu tun. Die neuen, oder besser gesagt alten, Smilies sind nicht mehr so plastisch und sehen alles in allem schöner aus. Bisher habe ich nur die bestehenden Smilies getauscht. Es kommen aber noch weitere hinzu.

Ich gehe bei den Diskussionen erstmal davon aus, dass alle ein gewisses geistiges Alter haben, um differenziert diskutieren zu können. Da sollte gegenseitiger Respekt selbstverständlich sein. Ich werde mich entsprechend im Thread äußern.

Stimmt, dafür Werbung, falsches Bildformat und wahrscheinlich noch geschnitten. Auf DVD bzw. damals im Kino ist es schon schöner.

James Newton Howard hat nach Freedomland & King Kong, und neben R.V. von Barry Sonnenfeld und M. Night Shyamalans Lady in the Water, ein neues Projekt: The Lookout. Es wird ein Thriller und Regie führt der Drehbuchautor Scott Frank, dessen Drehbuch zu Out of Sight, eine Oscarnominierung erhielt und der jetzt auf dem Regiestuhl Platz genommen hat. Hallo, Grund für diesen Beitrag, ist der anhaltende Trend des Bashings in einigen Beiträgen. Als Beispiel sei der Thread The Da Vinci Code - CD von Decca und Co-Komponist für Zimmer herausgenommen, der sich eigentlich mit der CD-Veröffentlichung und dem Co-Komponisten beschäftigen soll. Mittlerweile ist es, wieder einmal, zu einem Bashing von James Horner ausgeartet. Gegen Diskussionen, die gerne auch hitzig sein dürfen, aber nicht ausfallen werden, haben wir hier nichts. Ganz im Gegenteil. Das Forum lebt von der aktiven Teilnahme eines jeden Benutzers und oftmals zeigt sich, dass sich viele ergänzen. Der Geschmack eines jeden ist, genau wie seine Meinung, individuell und sollte von jedem respektiert werden. Das man nicht immer auf einen Nenner kommt, ist vollkommen normal. Eine Gesellschaft, in der jeder die gleiche Meinung vertritt, wäre ziemlich öde. Das sich aber einige in ihrer Ehre verletzt fühlen und die "Pferde" mit ihnen durchgehen, können wir nicht tolerieren. Ich bitte deshalb jeden, das Thema in den Beiträgen nicht abdriften zu lassen und sollte sich die Diskussion in eine völlig andere Richtig entwickeln, einen neuen Beitrag in einem der entsprechenden Foren zu erstellen, damit das eigentliche Thema nicht aus den Augen verloren wird. Lalo Schifrin, bekannt durch seine Musik zu den Dirty Harry-Filmen, schreibt nach 24 Jahren wieder Musik für einen Horror-Film. Es handelt sich um den Film Abominable von seinem Sohn Ryan. Der Film soll im Juni in den amerikanischen Kinos starten. Quelle: Film Music Radio

Mikael Carlsson meldet, dass John Powell von Universal Pictures für die Musik für den Film Flight 93, engagiert wurde. Der Film behandelt die Ereignisse an Board eines der am 11. September 2001 gekapperten Flugzeuges, welches dann in Pennsylvania abstürzte. Quelle: Film Music Radio

So, nach den Nominierungen, folgen die Gewinner: Despite two Oscar nominations, John Williams didnt win the Academy Award for Best Original Score this year. However, according to the International Film Music Critics Association, Williams Memoirs of a Geisha was the Best Original Motion Picture Score of 2005, and John Williams was voted Film Composer of the Year. Williams wrote four scores released in 2005 Memoirs of a Geisha, Munich, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and War of the Worlds - and all of them were nominated to the Film Music Critics Awards in different categories. Film Score Monthly, who has had an impressive output of golden age and silver age classic scores in 2005, was voted the Soundtrack Record Label of the Year. However, Reprise Records and Howard Shore won the Best New CD Release of a Previously Existing Motion Picture Score Award for the complete release of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. In the different genre categories, James Newton Howard won the Action/Adventure award for King Kong, Julian Nott the Comedy Award for Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, John Williams the Drama Award for Memoirs of a Geisha, Howard Shore the Horror/Thriller Award for A History of Violence, Patrick Doyle the Sci-Fi/Fantasy award for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Michael Giacchino the Television Award for Lost. His melodic gifts were truly astounding. His music is absolutely infectious. Here we have a score from 1979 in the genre that Delerue redefined. A love story set at the Cannes Film Festival was ideal for the Frenchman. Luckily, director Michael Ritchie felt the same way. An Almost Perfect Affair was composed the same year as A Little Romance, which would go on to win the composer the Academy Award. This rapturous score features on of Delerues most uplifting themes. It exudes unrestrained joy. Delerue made music like this seem effortless. That no scores since his passing in 1992 come close to this level of charm and romance makes clear what an utterly unique talent Delerue was. His music is simply joie de vivre personified. 1. Das Crash gewonnen hat, ist absolut phantastisch. Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet.

Ein Bootleg-Label ist es so oder so, also lohnt es nicht überhaupt Geld dafür zu investieren.
