Unser Mitglied und Moderator Dimitri Dodoras hat auf der diesjährigen SoundTrack_Cologne 2.0 in Köln den Skoda Sound Track Award gewonnen. Ziel der Auschreibung vom November 2004 war es, für den Kurzfilm loop // unloop die Musik zu schreiben. Dimitri reichte einen modernen, aber dennoch orchestralen Score ein und bekam den Preis am Wochenende von Komponist Harald Kloser überreicht. Wir, das Team des Filmmusik-Info Netzwerkes, gratulieren Dimitri hiermit von ganzem Herzen und denken, er wird auch in Zukunft von sich hören lassen was Filmmusik angeht. Da ich mich nicht schnell genug entscheiden konnte, hab ich "The Kindred" dann doch noch bei SAE bestellt. Aber man muss schon hinterher sein oder man schaut in die Röhre und hat Pech dann bei ebay das eine oder andere ersteigern zu müssen.

Das Lied ist aus dem aktuellen Sampler "Abbey Road" von Immediate Music.

Soweit ich weiß ist die gesamte Musik von Magic Box Music. Die John Williams Musik war aus dem Teaser.

Alles in allem denke ich, würdest du mit einer Bestellung direkt in den Staaten günstiger kommen. Besonders bei dem Wechselkurs. Für Bestellungen ohne Kreditkarte kann man den Soundtrack-Club nur empfehlen. Der Service ist wirklich klasse.

soundtrack.net war bei den Scoring Sessions von "Bambi 2" in Los Angeles dabei und hat dabei einen Bericht angefertigt. Das Ergebnis kann hier nachgelsesen werden. Garniert ist der Bericht mit einigen Fotos.

Für das Remake des John Carpenter Klassikers "The Fog", hat Regisseur Rupert Wainwright Graeme Revell verpflichtet. Das berichtet die Onlineausgabe von Music from the Movies. Revells aktuelle Musik kann man z.Zt. im Kino und zwar im Film "Sin City" hören.

Die von Music from the Movies produzierte DVD "Film Music Masters: Jerry Goldsmith" ist ausverkauft. Die im Mai angekündigte DVD kam 1. Juni diesen Jahres raus und hatte eine Auflage von 1500 Stück. Die entsprechende Newsmeldung kann hier nachgelesen werden.

Wird niemand können, da es keinen gibt.

Hab es mir doch noch anders überlegt und "Spacehunter" gerade bestellt. "The Kindred" & "The Confession" sind schon ausverkauft. Zumindest direkt bei Varese.

Für die diesjährigen World Soundtrack Awards (WSA), wurden die Nominierungen bekannt gegeben.

Ich hätte eigentlich ein paar schönere Sachen erwartet, aber damit spart man halt Geld. Vielleicht ist bei der nächsten Ankündigung was schönes dabei.

Somit hat sich der Kauf dieser Fassung erübrigt.

Varese hat jetzt Details zur kommenden Veröffentlichung von "Stealth" online gestellt. Neben einem Coverart gibt es auch eine Tracklist zu sehen. Der Score wird 28 Tracks beinhalten. Über die Gesamtlänge ist bisher nichts bekannt. Quelle: Varese Sarabande
