Seh ich genauso. Nach Varese und Intrada habe ich das Thema "Blue Max" abgehakt. Hab allein bei "Obsession" mal wieder auf Tadlow zurückgegriffen und den in der Tat nunmehr fünffach (Decca-LP, Unicorn Katchana CD, Master Film Music, Musicbox, Tadlow). Ist bei mir aber eher die Aufnahme. Dann lieber neue Musik entdecken.

Ich geb mir heute ein kleines Schifrin-Medley mit Cincinnati Kid, Sol Madrid und Once a thief. Die 60er waren sicherlich Lalos fruchtbarste Jahre. Die Schifrin Box von FSM ist neben Mutiny on the Bounty sicherlich eine der besten VÖs von FSM.

Ist exakt der gleich Inhalt wie die Rhino-CD. Erinnert mich irgendwie an die alten griechischen Membran-VÖs, die sich die Schlupflöcher des europäischen Urheberschutzgesetzes zu Nutze gemacht haben. Gibt hierüber auch einen Thread im FSM-Board. Dürfte demnach ein europäisches Label sein.

In der LP to CD Serie von Varese erscheint demnächst 52 Pick up von Gary Chang.....ich sehne die letzte (zwölfte) VÖ herbei....wobei mir auch Minor miracle durchaus gefallen hat.

Einer meiner Broughton Favoriten neben YSH: The Boy who could fly.

Bernard Herrmann wäre hier auch zu nennen: das Spätwerk mit Twisted Nerve, It´s alive, Sisters und Endless night und so Gurken wie Blue denim, Joy in the morning, Beneath the 12 mile reef, King of the Kyber rifles, Tender is the night.

Gato Barbieri, kongenialer Saxophonist und Komponist von Bertoluccis "Last Tango at Paris" ist an Lungenendzündung gestorben. Höre gerade sein wundervolles Album Ruby, Ruby. Sehr traurig.

Johnny Mandel ist nicht gerade überrepräsentiert bei mir: The russians are coming und Point blank....das wars dann schon. Dürfte bei mir noch aus dem Indiegogo-Fundus kommen...bin gespannt.

Mochte ihre Bauplastiken und Raumfügungen auch wenn ich gerne mal gesehen hätte wie ihre Architektur mit kleineren Budgets ausgesehen hätte. Zweifelsohne für die Architekturwelt ein großer Verlust.

Final conflict in die deine Favoriten-Liste aufzunehmen kann ich gut nachvollziehen. Bei Fox hunt bekommt man Lust aufs Pferd zu steigen und mit zu jagen. Sicherlich eingängiger und weniger avantgardistisch als manch kantigeres Werk des Meisters (s. Illustrated man, Twilights last gleaming.... ) aber um Lichtjahre besser als vieles was einem heute so geboten wird.

Das langsame Sterben einer Filmmusikalischen Institution....traurig.

Hast das SAE-Angebot genutzt?

Ich hab ihn als Politiker nie besonders gemocht aber sein Schicksal hat mich schon berührt und die angenehm leise Art wie er mit seiner Krankheit umgegangen ist fand ich bemerkenswert. Insofern stimmt mich sein Ableben schon traurig. RIP

Verantwortlich ist in erster Linie die Koalition mit ihrem chaotischen Regierungsstil.....das hat in der Tat Albtraumhaftes an sich. Die AFD hat es zumindest geschafft potentielle Nichtwähler an die Urne zu bringen und das ist durchaus positiv zu werten. Unsere Demokratie sollte kein Problem damit haben mit ein paar AFD-Wählern klarzukommen (wenn sie denn die direkte Auseinandersetzung nicht scheut...)

Ghost Story ist nicht wirklich selten (im Gegensatz zu Blood in-blood out oder Serpent and the rainbow). Bei Ebay immer mal wieder.

Was ist das für eine nervige Reklame, die immer in die Beiträge ragt? Absolut penetrant und nervig. Nach Norwegen fahr ich im Leben nicht mehr.....
