The Thing (2011)

Naja, mäßig spannend und mäßig originell, aber dennoch ganz unterhaltsam. Ein Gefühl der Bedrohung und des Grusels will sich trotzdem nicht so wirklich einstellen. Das hat Paranormal Activity mit weniger Mitteln besser geschafft... Das könnte aber auch an der Umgebung liegen, denn das eigene Schlafzimmer ist immer noch was anderes, als die Mondoberfläche. Hehe, schreib ruhig, denn ich finde den Tipp klasse. Wollte mir die DVD schon länger mal holen, aber sie war mir bisher zu teuer. Das wird sich dann wohl im laufe dieses Jahres ändern.

Also das geht doch echt in Ordnung. Ich, und sicher auch viele andere hier, habe dieses Album (und auch andere Sampler und Re-Recordings) ja selber. Ein paar hämische Bemerkungen müsstest du nur befürchten, wenn es sich um eine Aufnahme mit dem berüchtigten Global Stage "Orchestra" handeln würde... Aber prinzipiell wäre sogar das okay...

Also ich hab mit dieser Veröffentlichung jetzt auch keine Probleme. Hatte die Varése seinerzeit verpasst und mir dann die vorige Intrada CD zum normalen Preis geholt. Und bei der werde ich nun auch bleiben. Ansonsten schön für alle, die den Score noch nicht haben.

Oh ja, tolles Album, und ich freue mich ebenfalls sehr über diese Veröffentlichung. Bei den Gedanken an Film und Score, werden Kindheitserinnerungen wach. Aber davon unabhängig ist es einfach eine tolle Musik...
