Irgendwie null Neues. Ich höre PotC, Batman Begins und noch ne Reihe anderer Zimmer-Schmieden-Standards. Ziemlich lahm und noch dazu vorhersehbar. Badelt sollte die Finger von Blockbustern lassen.

Oh, wie erfreulich. Kenne zwar leider keine der beiden Serien, aber Snow und das X-files-Spin-Off lassen mich doch aufhorchen. Bin mal gespannt ...

Zum Glück hab ich die zu gewinnende CD schon und brauch mich beim mir fehlenden Clip 1 nicht anstrengen . Aber Clip 3 ... wie kann man den nicht kennen ... nee nee nee

Wo gibt's denn den schon zu hören? Ich kann es kaum erwarten, den Score in Händen zu halten, aber er erscheint doch erst am 15.01.

Bei mir war es bestelltechnisch bisher ein sehr aktiver, lieferungstechnisch aber ein eher ruhiger Monat. Bisher sind eingetroffen: Javier Navarrete - Cracks Roque Banos - Celda 211 Hoffentlich kommen die Reste (u.a. 15 CDs aus Spanien) noch vor Weihnachten

Na endlich. Ich hatte schon befürchtet, dass das so weiter geht. Endlich mal nix für mich und Geld gespart . Allen, die auf diese Scores gewartet haben viel Spaß damit.

Klingt stark nach Fluch der Karibik 3, aber im Großen und Ganzen weniger tumb als ich erwartet hatte. Vielleicht hat der Score ja sogar etwas Flair ... ich bin gespannt.

Endlich einer, der sich mit mir freut . Ich find diese beiden sperrigen "Klassiker" einfach nur herrlich und ein must-have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, bei Freud und Revolution muss ich dann wohl zuschlagen ...

An utterly brilliant score, Freud gave Goldsmith the opportunity to psychologically probe the human mind. He merged his own musical style with the Vienna school of Berg, Webern and Schoenberg to produce an agitated and thoroughly captivating work. Without question one of the most important scores of Jerry Goldsmith’s career, there were even cues from this score which found their way (much to Goldsmith’s chagrin) into Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic Alien. Also, die Clips kann man sich leider schenken. Die sind relativ nichtssagend bis auf ein paar leichte Anspielungen auf Herrmann und The Machinist .

Wie ich gerade im Netz gelesen habe, gibt es nun endlich Nachschub für alle Roque-Baños-Fans. Karonte veröffentlicht seinen Score zu Celda 211. Die CD umfasst 12 Tracks und ist ca 37 Minuten lang. Sie kann schon bei Chris' Soundtrack Corner vorbestellt werden. Ich habe sie direkt aus Spanien bestellt. Etwas teurer zwar, dafür aber sofort lieferbar ... und ihr wisst ja, bei Baños kann ich nicht warten . Reinhören kann man übrigens auch, nämlich hier.

Aber irgendwie freut man sich doch über jede "Perle", die das nach langem Warten zum Vorschein kommt. Ich hab mir auch Innerspace und The Fugitive bestellt. Bin schon gespannt drauf ...

Nein, mir schmerzt das Herz, wenn ich sehe, dass Du all die schönen Banosse veräußerst . Aber wer die noch nicht hat: die meisten davon sind absolute Highlights und noch dazu unschlagbar günstig.

Das ist wirklich eine wichtige Anschaffung. Metropolis ist ein grandioser Film, ganz zu schweigen davon, dass er ein filmhistorischer Meilenstein von unüberschätzbarer Bedeutung ist. Ich habe mir damals beide Fritz-Lang-Boxen besorgt, auch wegen Frau im Mond ... Lnag war ein beeindruckender Regisseur.

Ich werde es versuchen . Ich hab alle Alben inzwischen mindestens einmal gehört und ein paar wären doch ein paar Kommentare wert. Vielleicht sollte ich auch einen neuen Thread mit dem Titel "My Spain-Score Diary" eröffnen .

Bei mir gab es mal wieder eine Spanien-Lieferung: José Nieto - La Mirada del Otro Pascal Gaigne - Azul Oscuro Casi Negro Pascal Gaigne - Silencio Roto Eva Gancedo - Teresa Teresa Eva Gancedo - Lagrimas Negras Suso Saiz - Africa Joan Vives - De Que Se Rien Las Mujeres Luis Miguel Cobo - Reflejos Und außerdem endlich: Richard Harvey - The Legend of Suriyothai Nachdem ich das Harvey-Album The Spriti of Suriyothai ziemlich enttäuschend fand bin ich von diesem Score schlichtweg begeistert .

Das ist halt die Gefahr, wenn man einen für's Auge gemachten Clip als Grundlage für die Beurteiling der Musik nimmt. Die Hälfte ist nicht zu hören bzw. stechen nur noch die Percussions hervor. Der Rest klingt für mich nach solidem Underscoring, das mich allerding wieder an einige andere Komponisten erinnert hat. Die Clips auf der Homepage find ich für eine Beurteilung unzureichend. Sie klingen für sich genommen reichlich nach Standard, aber diese 40 Sekunden geben keinen Aufschluss über die Qualität des Scores. The Day After Tomorrow hatte auch ein eingängiges RCP-like Thema, aber der Rest hat mich wahrlich nicht überzeugt. Ein, zwei "Highlights" machen leider noch keinen guten Score ... However, das ist Spekulation und vielleicht werden wir ja mal von was Großartigem überrascht .
