Würdet Ihr bis dahin warten oder vorerst die einzelnen Alben kaufen?

Warten kann ich da leider auch nicht.Ich hoffe wieder auf eine Leder-Edition.Das sind schöne Sammlerstücke,die zwar nur bei mir in der Vitrine stehen,aber ihren Zweck bis zur VÖ des Complete Score voll erfüllt haben.

Wie auch schon bei "Lord of the Rings" wird es auch bei "The Hobbit" einen Song geben.

TheOneRing.Net (via The Playlist) is reporting that Neil Finn will be providing the end credits song for Peter Jackson’s highly anticipated The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Finn is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of Crowded House. All of the previous Lord of the Rings films featured original songs in the end credits, including May It Be performed by Enya in The Fellowship of the Ring, Gollum’s Song by Emiliana Torrini in The Two Towers and Into the West by Annie Lennox in The Return of the King. No more details about the songs have been revealed yet. The soundtrack for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey featuring the film’s original music composed by Howard Shore will be released in the US by WaterTower Music. The release date and album details are expected to be announced within the next month. The film is set to open on December 14, 2012.

immerhin waren die 3 songs bisher auch ganz in Ordnung und nicht sowas wie I SEE YOU bei AVATAR oder son Zeug...

Ich würd sagen, dass die Songs bisher mehr als in Ordnung waren. Ich liebe diese Stücke, besonders "Into the West". Ich wär ehrlich gesagt enttäuscht gewesen, wenn sie keinen neuen gemacht hätten.

WaterTower Music has announced the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Original Motion Picture Soundtrack at all retailers on December 11th. The soundtrack will be available both digitally and as a 2 CD set. A Special Edition of the soundtrack featuring six exclusive bonus tracks, seven extended score cues, and deluxe liner notes will also be available December 11. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey features original score by Academy Award® winner Howard Shore recorded at famed Abbey Road studios by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Additionally it includes an original song entitled "Song of the Lonely Mountain," written and performed by Neil Finn (Crowded House). The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the first of a trilogy of films from Oscar-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), will be released in the U.S. on December 14, 2012.

Shore’s music for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy has been performed in concerts throughout the world. In 2003, Shore conducted the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in the world premiere of The Lord of the Rings Symphony in Wellington, New Zealand. Since then, the work has had over 140 performances by the world’s most prestigious orchestras, and has even been the subject of a book, Music of The Lord of the Rings Films.

"I have looked forward to returning to the imaginative world of Middle-earth for quite a while," says Shore. "I read all of the books by Tolkien, including The Hobbit, when I was in my twenties, and his deep love of nature and all things green resonates deeply with me."

Wenn die Musik nur annährend HdR-Niveau erreicht kann ich da leider nicht warten...Mit den ersten Complete Recordings wird man ja wohl dann eh erst frühestens Weihnachten 2014 rechnen dürfen.

denke mal die wird dann bei ~ 25€-30€ landen. Zumindest am Anfang.

Aber schön, dass man hier mal nicht so Download-exklusiv arbeitet. Würde mich nur mal interessieren warum wir gleich 2 CDs bekommen und man erstmal nur nicht einen einfachen 1-CD Soundtrack veröffentlicht.
