Ich behaupte, dass Superhelden seit 1989 und Burtons BATMAN zu einer von Hollywoods Standard-Nummern gehört, von THE SHADOW, DARKMAN und BLADE über HULK, DAREDEVIL, X-MEN etcpp

 

Aber unabhängig vom Kassenstand wird das natürlich schon fad: Die Kräfte, die Kostüme, die meist eher stereotypen Weltrettungsgeschichten...

Och, James Bond lebt auch seit 50 Jahren. Die werden schon einen Weg finden, das immer wieder attraktiv zu machen. Und sonst gibt's halt mal ein paar Jahre Pause dazwischen - vgl. Bond (Dalton-Brosnan) und Batman (Schumacher-Nolan).

Gut, war auch nur grob geschätzt... Verfolge das Kino und die Filme, die da laufen erst seitdem ich allein ins Kino durfte (1994).

Meine bescheidene Meinung ist, dass Superhelden aktuell sehr nerven. Und die Übersättigung kann vielleicht auch gar nicht an den nackten Zahlen dieser Filme betrachtet werden, sondern auch am Verdrängungsgrad. Habe das Gefühl, es läuft sonst nichts mehr auf der großen Leinwand.

 

Man beachte in dieser Liste, dass es diese Filme schon immer gab. Aber auch, wie hoch die Frequenz der letzten Jahre aussieht. Ganz ab davon, dass frühere Superhelden dieser Liste jetzt nicht unbedingt alle gerade die offensichtlichen Strumpfhosenträger waren:

Also ich kann ebenfalls, wie Anne nicht genug bekommen von den Superhelden. Gerade die Marvel-Helden haben es mir angetan, aber auch DC machte mit Nolans Batman einiges richtig, wenn gleich ich den Burton Batman schon bevorzuge, aber das ist Geschmackssache.

 

Nebenbei wenn man sich nur die rauspickt, die einem taugen.. dann kann es einem auch nicht fad werden

Und glaube/hoffe, ich kann mich Freak nennen, da ich seit 2002 über 90% der Marvel-Filme gesehen habe... (mir fehlt noch der "Punisher 2", "Ghost Rider 2", "X-Men: First Class" und halt der neue "Spiderman")

So der Reboot der Fantastic Four hat nun auch einen US-Starttermin, der 6.März 2015, und außerdem werden "The Wolverine" und "X-Men: Days of Future Past" noch nachträglich in 3-D konvertiert...bzw. bei nächsten X-Men vermutet man, dass er direkt in 3-D dann auch gedreht wird.

Jamie Fox über seine Rolle als "Electro" im zweiten Teil von Spider-Man.....

 

Jamie Foxx was recently announced as the big bad for upcoming super-sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and the star has taken time out to talk about what we can expect from the fiendish Electro.

"You’ll see his whole life is just no one is talking to him," says Foxx of the character's backstory. "People have stolen his ideas at the company, he’s a nobody. And at a certain point Spider-Man bumps into him and says, ‘You’re my guy, you’re my ears and eyes on the street,’ and he says his name, 'Max', and no one’s ever said Max Dillon’s name, and he goes ‘Wow.'
 
"And so when Spider-Man leaves he sort of thinks that somehow, ‘I am Spider-Man’s partner,’ and so he starts cutting out his face and pasting it on his board at home. When everything goes bad, his mom doesn’t remember his birthday, I mean all these crazy things happen until finally he has something tragic happen, and then when it turns on he lights it up.”

Rather more in the way of detail than we might have expected (the studiowill be pleased), and Foxx continues with a little tease as to the nature of his costume.

"Marc Webb and all those guys that are doing it are smart," he explains. "They know that it has to make sense in 2013. They want to have it more grounded and not as comic book-y, so it won’t be green and yellow. They want to try new things, like a liquid rubber and things like that. The suit is really slick, it’s actually black, but it’s the new age."

Co-starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Dane DeHaan, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will open in the UK on 18 April 2014.

After playing coy with “I'm not allowed to say yet,” last September, Hayley Atwell had seemingly confirmed she’d be reprising her ‘Peggy Carter’ role from Captain America: The First Avenger in the 2014 sequel, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. However, a recent interview with the English actress indicates that headlines apparently jumped the gun. An excerpt from her chat with TimeOut simply reveals, “She won’t, she confirms, be back for the [Captain America] sequel.” 

Now that Atwell can finally confirm she won't return for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, more questions are raised. Considering the character is at least 80 years old in the present-day of Marvel's shared universe, in which a deleted scene from The Avengers confirmed she was still active, an older actress may be sought out. It's also possible that Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter's relationship will flesh out in a third Captain America film, for which plans have been alluded to too. 

Perhaps Marvel's creative consultant Joss Whedon will make use of the couple's heartbreaking dynamic for a subplot in The Avengers highly-anticipated 2015 sequel. The writer-director revealed early last year that one of the best scenes he wrote for The Avengers was never filmed and a “beautiful and poignant scene” between Steve and Peggy in the present. Joseph Gordon Levitt will wohl lieber bei Marvel mitmachen als bei DC

 

In regelmäßigen Abständen bekommen wir einen neuen Kinofilm präsentiert, der auf einer Vorlage des Comic-Giganten Marvel basiert. Guardians of the Galaxy ist Teil der sogenannten Phase 2 der Marvel Studios, zu der die Verfilmungen aus dem Comic-Universum nach Marvel’s The Avengers gehören. Die Hüter benötigen selbstverständlich ein Gesicht, das Zuschauerscharen ins Kino locken könnte. Joseph Gordon-Levitt wäre sicherlich ein geeigneter Kandidat und scheint sich auch ernsthafte Hoffnungen auf die Hauptrolle machen zu dürfen, wie Deadline berichtet.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt würde die Rolle von Starlord Peter Quill übernehmen, der Nachkomme einer menschlichen Frau und eines männlichen Außerirdischen. In trockenen Tüchern ist die Besetzung von Joseph Gordon-Levitt noch lange nicht, schließlich ist die Konkurrenz auf den Posten recht groß. In Vergangenheit kursierten auch Namen wie Joel Edgerton (Zero Dark Thirty), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas), Lee Pace (Lincoln) und Eddie Redmayne (Les Misérables) durch die Gerüchteküche, wer da die Nase vorn hat, ist noch unklar. Wer auch immer es wird, für Guardians of the Galaxy wird er von James Gunn in Szene gesetzt, der zuletzt mit Super – Shut up, Crime! auf sich aufmerksam machte und auch einen Teil zum starüberfrachteten Klamauk Movie 43 beitragen wird. Bisher ist der Starttermin für die galaktische Superheldengeschichte auf den September 2014 angesetzt.

Dass er sich damit mal nicht ins eigene Fleisch schneidet. Marvel ist insgesamt wohl erfolgreicher unterwegs als DC, aber Batman ist die deutlich stärkere Marke gegenüber einer solch kuriosen Truppe wie den Guardians. Und dann führt auch noch James Gunn Regie... brrrr...

Famke Janssen würde gern beim neuen "X-Men"-Film dabei sein...

 

It seems that every other day now we hear more chatter about who is and isn't going to be involved in X-Men: Days Of Future Past. And while yesterday had January Jones seemingly ruling herself out, today sees Famke Janssen putting herself very much in the frame.

With Hugh Jackman already confirmed and Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart also thought to be on board, Janssen is keen to take her place alongside her old cohorts, although she hasn't been confirmed yet.

"If you run into Bryan Singer, just tell him I’ve been sitting by the phone," she joked to Collider. "I’ve been hearing rumours of all these people getting cast. What about me? I’m waiting…"

She also went on to discuss singer's approach to superhero movies, and why he's such an attractive prospect to work with.

"With the X-Men, Bryan Singer was very clear we need to base this in reality," she explains. "We’re not going to be making the regular superhero movie everybody else has been making up to now. These are just regular people with regular problems."

Marvel Studios has a lot in store for fans with their wave of Phase Two films: "Iron Man 3" and "Thor: The Dark World" in 2013, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" in 2014, and "The Avengers 2" in 2015.

But Joss Whedon's "Avengers" sequel isn't the only Marvel Studios release scheduled for 2015. In November of that same year, the world will finally see Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man,"long-rumored but now on the fast-track towards reality as the official start of Phase Three.

"'Ant-Man' is definitely part of Phase Three," Marvel's Kevin Feige told MTV News during our recent interview. "Like 'Iron Man 3,' it's certainly set in the Marvel Universe, but it's also through the lens of Edgar Wright — which is the only reason we're making the movie."

 

"I've known Edgar since our first lunch together at Comic-Con in 2004," he continued. "He asked me what Marvel was doing with 'Ant-Man' — we weren't even a studio then; what a difference eight years makes! It's very much an 'Ant-Man' origin movie from the perspective of Edgar Wright and his co-writer Joe Cornish. It will of course be firmly planted in the MCU, but a different corner than we've seen before."

Indeed, "different corners" appears to be a theme of Marvel's third phase. "So much of the stories we're telling [right now] is about the core 'Avengers' characters we've now met, and they'll be evolving in big, surprising ways, in Cap's next movie and Thor's next movie and of course in 'Iron Man 3,' as we get them all into the next 'Avengers' film," said Feige. "Beyond that… 'Ant-Man' is the only one officially announced, but you probably don't have to look too far to guess at the next list of characters we're toying with and beginning to develop."

Could the oft-rumored "Doctor Strange" be a part of those plans?

"'Doctor Strange,' which I've been talking about for years, is definitely one of them," he confirmed. "He's a great, original character, and he checks the box off this criteria that I have: he's totally different from anything else we have, just like 'Guardians of the Galaxy.' He's totally different from anything we've done before, as is 'Ant-Man,' which keeps us excited."

Der Fairness halber muss ich aber sagen, dass zumindest Dr. Strange ein ganz interessanter und dankbarer Charakter ist. Ist halt mehr eine mystische Figur, die dem Marvel-Universum ein paar neue Aspekte hinzufügen dürfte. War auch nett, was J. Michael Straczynski mit der Figur gemacht hatte. Was allerdings den Rest angeht... Tja, äh...

Soll das jetzt ein X-Men 4 anstatt eines First Class Sequel werden ?

 

Since the announcement of X-Men: Days of Future Past, the cast has continued to grow as actors from both the original X-Men and X-Men: First Class are set to appear in the film. Now even more alumni from the original films have been confirmed for the sequel. Director Bryan Singer tweeted this afternoon that Anna Paquin (Rogue), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), and Shawn Ashmore (Iceman) will all be back for the film. He then thanked X-Men: The Last Stand director Brett Ratner for having their characters survive.

 

What role these characters play in the plot is yet to be determined, but the return of Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde is a potential good omen as her character was a focal point of the original comic book storyline.

 

Other cast members confirmed to return for the movie include Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Hugh Jackman.

 

Scheduled for release on July 18, 2014, X-Men: Days of Future Past features a script by Simon Kinberg and is said to be inspired Chris Claremont and John Byrne's comic book storyline that ran in "Uncanny X-Men" #141 and 142 back in 1981. "Days of Future Past" introduced the idea of an alternate future for Marvel's mutants that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator, leading to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels.

Bryan Singer’s X-Men reunion project continues apace, with Halle Berry confirmed as the latest old face to sign on for X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

“Couldn't be more excited that #HalleBerry has joined the cast of #XMen #DaysofFuturePast” revealed Singer via Twitter. “Hopefully she can improve the weather in Montreal.”

Berry will reprise her role as Storm as part of the film’s time-bending storyline, which will see the X-Men warned of a future threat that will see mutants imprisoned in concentration camps.

The narrative will flit between the present and the future, allowing for the “older” X-Men to appear in the same film alongside their younger counterparts. Hence all the old faces flocking back.

Directed by Singer and co-starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 18 July 2014.

Robert Redford ist wohl bei "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" dabei

 

There's a surprising bit of Marvel Universe casting news today as Deadline reports that Robert Redford is the latest name to enter talks to star in Anthony and Joe Russo's Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He would play a high-ranking agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

 

Already set to star Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell and Maximiliano Hernández, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is said to be a political thriller inspired by Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting's acclaimed arc in the comics.

 

Redford can next be seen in The Company You Keep, which he also directed. It opens in New York and LA on April 5.

 

Captain America: The Winter Soldier, meanwhile, begins production shortly for an April 4, 2014 release.
