Da bislang es noch keinen Thread darüber gab.. der Komponist ist wohl zu unbekannt.. dachte ich mir, dass ich das mal mache. Auch weil mich Joe Kraemer mit folgenden Facebook Status daran erinnert hat, dass er die Musik geschrieben hat.

Er hatte nämlich auf eine Frage, ob die Musik im Trailer von ihm sei, das geantwortet:

LLL bringt den Score zum McQuarrie Film Jack Reacher raus:

La-La Land Records will release a score album for the upcoming thriller Jack Reacher. The album features the film’s original score composed by Joe Kraemer who has previously worked with director Christopher McQuarrie on The Way of the Gun. The soundtrack will be released on December 18, 2012. The full details will be posted on this site within the next few weeks. Jack Reacher stars Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, Werner Herzog, David Oyelowo and Robert Duvall. The film is based on the novelOne Shot written by Lee Child follows the military policeman-turned-drifter Jack Reacher, who gets sucked into the mystery surrounding the arrest of a sniper accused of killing five random people in a shooting

Da gab es schon einen Thread dazu, ich verbinde mal und Jonathan.. diesmal konnte man ihn aber locker mit der Suchfunktion finden

Hier hast du welche, auch wenn es wohl für den Film "Jack Reacher" nicht relevant ist, denn der Score zu Jack Reacher ist orchestraler Natur, wie er schon klar gestellt hat.

sonderlich zufrieden war wohl keiner mit dem Score bei REACHER, nur ist Kraemer nen alter Freund von McQuarrie, weswegen der an ihm festhielt.

interessant wird ja falls McQuarrie wirklich MI5 macht, ob dann Kraemer auch wieder dabei ist...

naja dann war wohl doch einer zufrieden mit Kraemer, nämlich McQuarrie, sonst hätte er ihm das wohl auch gesagt.. das ist auch ein Teil der Freundschaft.. Ehrlichkeit!

Also bei dem Interview auf FSM Online klingt das genau umgekehrt. Niemand aus dem Produktionsteam hat Joe Kraemer gekannt und Mquarrie wollte ihn nicht pushen und  Cruise und den Produzenten eher auf subtile Art und Weise an Kraemer heranführen. Nachdem Cruise die ersten Demos gehört hatte meinte dieser, das sei das Beste was er seit John Williams Born on the fourth of July gehört hätte. Daraufhin  wurde Kramer vom Fleck weg engagiert. Kraemer durfte mit einem neunzig köpfigen Orchester arbeiten und hat jedwede Unterstützung von den Produzenten bekommen.

Kann alles auch Marketing Gedöns sein in dem Interview, aber dass Cruise und die Produzenten die Musik doof fanden kann man aus dem Interview zumindest nicht ansatzweise rauslesen..

PS: Bin gerade sehr begeistert... klingt wirklich sehr gut, was ich da in den Hörproben höre. Die CD wird geordert.. auch wenn erst im Februar.. aber gekauft wird sie.

Klingt tatsächlich ganz manierlich, für derartige nur bedingt originell geschriebene, aber gut orchestrierte Thriller-Musik bin ich eigentlich immer zu haben.
