Veröffentlichung La-La Land Records: CAPRICA (Season 1) - Bear McCreary

Neben der gestrigen Ankündigung von La-La Land Records die Musik zu BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: BLOOD & CHROME zu veröffentlichen, wird das Label im April auch ein CD-Set mit der kompletten Musik der Serie CAPRICA veröffentlichen.

Bereits 2009 hatte La-La Land Records die Musik zum Pilotfilm veröffentlicht.

 

“The Caprica series soundtrack was made possible by the tireless enthusiasm of the series’ passionate fans,” said McCreary.  “After countless Tweets, Facebook posts, emails, questions and rants, fans made it clear they wanted to experience this music in album format.  I am thrilled to collaborate once again with La-La Land Records to release more music from the Battlestar Galactica universe.”

ebenso schön. die musik aus dem piloten gefiel mir schon sehr.

Die Pilotmusik muss ich mal wieder rauskramen. Nur ein Mal gehört, für nicht so gut befunden wie die BSG-Musik. Vielleicht überzeugt´s ja mehr beim zweiten Anlauf.

 

Wird ja recht BSG-lastig in nächster Zeit bei LLL...

die musik zum piloten ist qualitativ ähnlich der musik zur 1. staffel von BSG. dort fand ja auch ne steigerung danach statt. mal schauen wie es bei Caprica aussieht. die serie selbst kenn ich nicht.

Vielleicht liegt´s auch daran, dass ich vor allem noch die Musik von Staffel 3 und 4 sowie der Filme von BSG im Ohr hatte. Da waren ja echt ein paar Highlights dabei. Die Bearbeitung des Hauptthemas für "The Plan" war reine Gänsehaut-Musik.

 

Caprica kenne ich bislang überhaupt nicht. Wurde die überhaupt mal ausgestrahlt in Deutschland? Und ist auch mal eine BD-Veröffentlichung geplant?

oh ja, ein klasse stück und ein toller opener für das Razor/The Plan album, das auch im gesamten sehr gut ist. durch die musik aus den staffeln 2-4 ist man natürlich verwöhnt und dagegen schwächelt der Caprica Pilot auch. da hast du schon recht. aufs album freu ich mich trotzdem sehr, da mir die musik aus dem neuen BSG universum im gesamten einfach gefällt.

Das Album kann ab sofort bei LLL bestellt werden. Die Anspielclips auf der Homepage machen richtig Laune und machen die Wartezeit bis zur Lieferung noch schwerer.

Hab die Discs gestern erhalten. Wie bei LLL üblich hat die Lieferung nur 10 Tage gedauert. Nicht schlecht. Da ist mancher UK-Import länger unterwegs.

 

Bin mit dem Inhalt der 2CDs sehr zufrieden. Zur Musik selber muss ich glaube ich nichts schreiben. Die Audioqualität ist sehr gut und ich habe nicht das Gefühl das wichtige Musikstücke aus der Serie fehlen. Abzüge in der B-Note gibt es für die nicht chronologische Reihenfolge der Titel auf den CDs. Auch hat sich ein Fehler bei der Tracklist eingeschlichen. Die Laufzeit aller Titel auf der zweiten CD wird mit 0:52 angegeben. LLL bietet die Zusendung einer korrigierten Trackliste an. Ich kann jedenfalls damit leben.
