Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the sports drama Race. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Rachel Portman (Emma, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat, The Manchurian Candidate, Never Let Me Go). The soundtrack will be released on February 19, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The full album details will be posted on this page within the next couple of weeks. Race is directed by Stephen Hopkins and stars Stephan James, Jason Sudeikis, Jeremy Irons, William Hurt and Carice van Houten. The movie tells the true story of Jesse Owens, the legendary sports superstar whose quest to become the greatest track and field athlete in history thrusts him onto the world stage of the 1936 Olympics. Wäre mal schön, wenn Portman etwas Abwechslung in Ihre Veröffentlichungen reinbringt.

Es klingt doch immer alles sehr "gleich".

bei dem dramaaspekt des films kann man sich ja schon ungefähr vorstellen, wie das wahrscheinlich klingen wird. die sportpassagen werden interessant sein. hängt aber auch davon ab, wie diese inszeniert sind.

Bei dem Trailer vermute ich eine Mischung zwischen Bagger Vance und Hart’s War. Aber ist mal wieder seit zwei Jahren eine Veröffentlichung, wie ich gerade sehe.

Wie gesagt, bin mal gespannt. Vielleicht hat die Ruhezeit etwas Neues in ihr bewirkt.

Also included is the original song Let The Games Begin by Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Aloe Blacc. The soundtrack will be released on February 19, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
