Philip Glass (The Hours, Notes on a Scandal, Naqoyqatsi) and Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Wormwood) are teaming up to score the upcoming Amazon original series Tales from the Loop. The sci-fi drama based is developed by Nathaniel Halpern (Legion) based on the art of Simon Stålenhag. Rebecca Hall has been cast as the female lead of the show, which explores the town and people who live above “The Loop,” a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe – making things possible that were previously relegated only to science fiction. Halpern is also executive producing Fox 21 Television Studios production with Mark Romanek (Never Let Me Go, One Hour Photo), Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes, Cloverfield), Adam Kassan and Rafi Crohn (The Passage), Mattias Montero, Samantha Taylor Pickett, Adam Berg and Stålenhag. Tales from the Loop is expected to premiere in 2020 on Amazon Prime.

The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 3 and will be available to stream/download here. Tales from the Loop is developed by Nathaniel Halpern inspired by the paintings of Simon Stålenhag and stars Rebecca Hall, Duncan Joiner, Daniel Zolghadri, Tyler Barnhardt and Jonathan Pryce. The full series will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Amazon Prime.

Mein absolutes Soundtrackhiglight dieses Jahr. So etwas unfassbar Schönes und Melanchonisches hab ich schon seit laaaaaanger Zeit nicht mehr gehört ... Was für eine tolle Musik zu einer bezaubernden und wunderbar unaufgeregten Serie ... ein Juwel ...

Habe bis jetzt nur das Hauptthema gehört und das finde ich relativ 0815 und austauschbar. Einfache Dur /Moll Arpeggien rauf und runter mit einer relativ vorhersehbaren Melodie. Eher ein uninteressanter Glass, wenn man das z.B. mit seiner 8. Sinfonie vergleicht. Ist denn der Rest des Scores so ähnlich gestrickt oder passiert da musikalisch noch ein bisschen mehr?

Ich weiß, ist nicht das selbe, aber es gibt den Sountrack zumindest in CD-Qualität hier oder hier.
