Das weiß man überhaupt noch nicht. Über den Hinweis bei FB ist nur klar, dass das frühe jazzige  Konzertwerk für Big Band drauf sein wird. Universal France wird aber vielleicht auch Zugpferde draufpacken. Das Morricone Set hatte als Köder die Musik zu Orca. Hier mag man sich Hoffnungen auf Sugarland Express oder Story of a Woman machen. Matessino sagt immer wieder, dass er Williams zur Veröffentlichung dieser Musiken bewegen will. Williams ist jetzt in die Produktion dieses großen Sets eingebunden, er steht der Box also wohlwollend gegenüber. Ich würde daher vorsichtig Hoffnung haben, dass Premieren enthalten sind.

Wenig Überraschungen dabei und wenn es sich um frühere 20th Century Fox, MCA oder Decca-Alben handelt, dann sind die meist in dieser früheren Form auch so hier komplett mit drauf. Lerouge hat also vor allem bei der Universal Music Group (UMG) lizenziert, aber kaum beim Universal Studio selbst - das ist der Haken an der Geschichte.

Sehe gerade bei FSM, dass das Tracklisting aufgetaucht ist. Nur eine Art Best of auf 20 CDs mit sehr wenigen Raritäten aus dem Bereich der Konzertwerke. Unterm Strich schade, ein Kauf lohnt sich überhaupt nicht.

Yepp, Preis wird wahrscheinlich ähnlich dem Preis der Morricone-Box sein. Was die Soundtracks betrifft gibt es nichts, was ich nicht schon habe. Werd wahrscheinlich passen. Bei den Morricone-Boxen war der Anteil an noch nicht Gehörtem einfach grösser ( Morricone ist nicht unbedingt mein Sammlungsschwerpunkt)

Das ist sicher dann hier eine gute Gelegenheit zum Zugreifen. Es sind von einer Reihe an Scores die alten Albumschnitte drauf. 

Und Mike Matessino hat diese kleine Antwort gegeben, von Cinderella Liberty kommt also wohl eine Neuauflage/Expandierung. Der schöne Score ist ja nicht sehr lang

Ja, besonders die Album-Fassungen von einigen Scores reizen mich hier sehr. Ich hoffe, dass es sich bei JAWS, JAWS 2 und EARTHQUAKE um die "Remastered Editions" handelt. Die Box soll übrigens Ende November erscheinen:

Disque : 20 beinhaltet wohl Easy Listening Stücke und Songs von und/oder mit John Williams. 
 

Zum Beispiel:

"Dream Away" aus The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing mit Frank Sinatra.
"The Same Hello, the Same Goodbye", ein Song, der ursprünglich für Frank Sinatra geschrieben worden ist, von ihm aber nie eingesungen wurde. Hier mit Barbra Streisand.
Bei Henry Mancini's "A Powdered Wig" aus Combo! ist John Williams als Musiker zu hören.
Ich wusste gar nicht, dass "Make Me Rainbows" aus Fitzwilly so populär war und viele Künstlerrinnen und Künstler inspiriert hat. Den Song haben neben der Chorus-Nummer aus dem Soundtrack auch Ella Fitzgerald, Michel Legrand und Nancy Wilson noch viele andere zum Besten gegeben. Bei "Dream Away" wird es vermutlich die Version mit Paul Williams sein, die John Williams damals für ein Album des Sängers arrangiert und auch dirigiert hat. 

"Make Me Rainbows" habe ich hier schon öfter mal genannt oder verlinkt. Hat sich zu einem richtigen Standard entwickelt. Auch von "Nice to be Around" aus Cinderella Liberty  gibt es schöne Aufnahmen, der Song ist ja gerade durch Anne-Sophie Mutter wieder mehr in die Aufmerksamkeit gerückt. Er wird auch wieder in einer weiteren Aufnahme, diesmal von Williams für Kammerensemble arrangiert, auf ihrem neuen Album sein. Wurde gerade angekündigt.

Erinnert ironischerweise sehr an Tár. Auch hier scheint "it's all about her".

Das Tracklisting zu CD 20, sieht sehr gut aus. "Dream Away" also wie von mir vermutet, nicht in der Version mit Frank Sinatra, sondern in der von Williams arrangierten und dirigierten Fassung mit Paul Williams. "Love’s the Only Game in Town" zum Glück nicht in der eher gesprochenen Version mit Walter Matthau, sondern in der raren mit Suzanne Stevens. Für mich unterm Strich viel dabei, was ich mir über die Jahre in den Originalalben zusammengesammelt habe, für manch andere sicher eine tolle Zusammenstellung von Neuentdeckungen des anderen Williams. Ella Fitzgerald ist einfach top in "Make Me Rainbows"!

Das ist aber interessant. Der Produzent Stéphane Lerouge meinte in einem Interview: "La validation de la structure, de la charpente a été assez rapide mais avec des observations précises: sur la chanson issue du thème d’amour de The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing (Le Fantôme de Cat Dancing), Dream Away, Williams tenait à la version Frank Sinatra, par exemple."
