Ansonsten vielleicht der Ottman, aber im Interview bei Sondtrack.net hat John über viel Synthies gesprochen was unter Umständen die Suppe etwas versalzen könnte. Bei Neil Jordans neuem Film hatte ich auf Goldenthal gehofft!

Interessant sind sonst eigentlich nur der Elfman und die Doyles. Paul Haslinger z.B. wirkte bei "Underworld" ziemlich talentfrei auf mich.

Naja es gibt da gewisse *hust* Gerüchte, die besagen, dass Joseph LoDuca von seiner Agentur angeboten bekommen hat an einem Filmscore gemeinsam mit Goldenthal zu arbeiten. Ob meine Quelle da so verlässlich ist weiß ich nicht. Die Quelle behauptet, sie habe es von LoDuca selbst erfahren. Naja nichts genaues weiß man nicht...

Auf die beiden neuen Doyles bin ich schon sehr gespannt, bisher siehts bei mir mit Neuveröffentlichungen dieses Jahr ziemlich mau aus und Chris Youngs Spidey 3 fällt jetzt auch noch, vorläufig jedenfalls , weg.

Dabei hatte ich mich schon auf das neue Thema für das schwarze Kostüm gefreut, mist.

Mit AS YOU LIKE IT kommt endlich mal wieder eine Branagh/Doyle Shakespear Arbeit, da wurde ich in der Vergangenheit eigentlich noch nie enttäuscht, schade nur das man diese HBO Produktion vermutlich nicht so bald sehen wird. Ist mit Bryce Dallas Howard ja eine Besetzung die mir sehr entgegen kommt und Patrick Doyle spielt auch noch mit!

Ein Historienschinken wie THE LAST LEGION ist für Patrick Doyle auch mal was neues, ich hoffe auf ein Highlight.

Auch schön zu sehen das Doyle wieder so gut im Geschäft ist und nicht das gleiche Schicksal erleiden muss wie manch einer seiner Kollegen, siehe Bruce Broughton oder Lee Holdridge.

Keine Ahnung, nach Doyles eigenen Aussagen jedenfalls wusste er zu beginn seiner Karriere nicht so genau ob er nun lieber Schauspieler oder Komponist werden sollte. Zum Glück hat er sich für letzteres entschieden.

Es kann aber sein das er schon damals als er mit Kenneth Brannagh 1987

bei der Renaissance Theatre Company arbeitete, kleinere Rollen übernahm,

hauptsächlich war er dort aber als Komponist und musikalischer Direktor beschäftigt.

Nachtrag zu AS YOU LIKE IT, es handelt sich wohl nicht um eine HBO, sondern um eine BBC Produktion.
