Sonstiges - Oscar-Promos sollen abgeschafft werden

Gerade erreicht mich folgende Nachricht:

Last month the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that the mailing of Oscar promo score CDs to Academy members for Oscar consideration would be banned for this year's awards--and possibly in the future as well. (The ruling also applied to Oscar promo song CDs.) According to Charles Bernstein, one of the Academy's music branch governors, "They were concerned that the CDs might be listened to out of context and the scores voted on solely on the basis of the CDs and not only on the basis of how the music worked in the movie."
