Phänomenal, zumindest der Goldsmith. Gerade vor wenigen Wochen sah ich nochmal den Film und war wieder voll drin in diesem wirklich perfekten Score für den Streifen. Diese Edition kommt da genau richtig, ist definitiv bestellt.

Speed II ist hingegen verzichtbar, hab letztens das ****leg mal wieder gehört und es bestätigte das bisherige Nicht-Release der Musik - nichts dolles.

Was ist im Moment nur los? Da jagd mal wieder ein Klopper den anderen.

Aber ernsthaft, The Edge wird wohl erst mal warten müssen. Hab zum Glück das alte RCA Album, falls es doch zu einem schnellen Ausverkauf kommt.

Aber bei LaLa gibts ja immerhin fast das doppelte an Musik...Hiilfee!!!;)

SPEED 2 nehme ich auf jeden Fall - bei THE EDGE hingegen bin ich am Zweifeln. Fehlt auf dem RCA-Release denn wirklich noch essentielles Material?

Die RCA hatte auf jeden Fall ein paar digitale Macken. Es gab ein Knistern in einigen Tracks (das ist wohl der angesprochene "glitch"). Frage mich nicht mehr, in welchen genau. Habe das Album seit Jahren nicht mehr gehört. Hat mich nie sonderlich berührt, obwohl ich Goldsmith-Fan bin.

An diese Fehler kann ich mich erinnern. Ansonsten war ich mit der RCA-CD jedoch immer sehr zufrieden, sehr guter Albumschnitt.

Naja, ich nehm die neue Edition, wird dann halt ein reiner Komplettierungskauf...

Denn werde ich mir in jedem Fall zulegen.

Bei dem Goldsmith werd ich erstmal die Stimmen zum "Remastering" abwarten.

um ehrlich zu sein, ich freu mich riesig über den release von speed 2. ein super action score von mark mancina und viel besser als teil 1. originell ist zwar mit sicherheit was anderes, aber schön melodisch, thematisch und rhythmisch ist der score allemal. ich freu mich.

Naja ich würde nicht drauf wetten. Hab den film mehrfach gesehen aber mir ist eigentlich nie aufgefallen, was da auf dem album fehlen könnte. Klingt halt alles irgendwie ziemlich ähnlich. Der bessere sound wird hier wohl der hauptgrund für mich sein, das album nochmal zu kaufen.

wenn la la land mit mancina scores so weitermacht, hab ich vielleicht auch noch glück und sie veröffentlichen irgendwann seinen tollen score zum film CAMILLE. da hat er nämlich wunderbare themen komponiert. schon der main title und die dazugehörigen bilder sind fantastisch. na mal abwarten.

Ja klasse! "The Edge" habe ich noch nicht und dann ist dieser Release sehr willkommen. Und ich denke an "Speed 2" komme ich auch nicht vorbei weil ich die Musik in offzieller Form auch gerne haben möchte und das auch noch mit mehr Musik. Die Frage ist was ich nun mit dem geplanten Kauf von "Star Trek - Special Edition" von Varese mache? Ach, das kommt mit dazu. : )
