Presenting the world premiere release of acclaimed composer James Horners (ALIENS, GLORY, TITANIC, AVATAR) score to the 1995 Paramount Pictures feature film JADE, starring David Caruso, Linda Fiorentino and Chazz Palminteri, directed by William Friedkin. Previously unavailable in any format, this release of Horners erotically charged, Asian-tinged score finally takes its place in his soundtrack canon of notable 1990s works. 1995 proved to be an especially successful year for Mr. Horner, having released scores to such films as CASPER, BRAVEHEART, APOLLO 13, JUMANJI and BALTO. STAR TREK V werde ich mir auf jeden Fall holen! Auf den habe ich schon lange gewartet. (aber warum wurde schon wieder die Album-Version dazugegeben und somit der Preis auf $ 30 erhöht?) ... 2010 ist eindeutig ein Goldsmith-Jahr bei mir

BATMAN RETURNS ist mit 70 Min. bereits sehr gut repräsentiert worden. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass da essentielles auf der neuen Veröffentlichung zu finden ist. Werde deshalb verzichten. Der ist mir definitiv keine $ 30 wert!

JADE kostet mit $ 15 etwas weniger als üblich, hat aber auch nur 26 Min. nicht wirklich spektakuläre Musik zu bieten. Dem ziehe ich FIRST BLOOD vor

HOME ALONE bereitet mir hingegen Kopfzerbrechen. Ich bin mit der bereits veröffentlichten CD eigentlich sehr zufrieden. Ich mag die Kombination aus Score und Songs die hier aufgrund der Länge leider fehlen. Neugierig wäre ich aber schon, was die zusätzlichen Stücke zu bieten haben. JADE hat Horner doch 1995 zwischen BRAVEHEART, APOLLO 13, CASPER und JUMANJI quasi dazwischengedrängelt. Kann mir auch nicht vorstellen, dass das irgendwas von Belang ist.

Über ST V brauchen wir nicht zu reden, HOME ALONE ist charmant, aber das alte Album scheint mir hinreichend repräsentativ, da es ja die komplette HOME ALONE II mit demselben Material gibt. BATMAN RETURNS könnte i. d. T. noch was drin sein, fand den Score immer besser als BATMAN.

Als Williams komplettist führt für mich kein weg um home alone herum. Dies und star trek V haben meine volle aufmerksamkeit. Den elfman und den horner hebe ich mir für einen späteren zeitpunkt auf.

Ja wenn Jade laut den Soundclips noch nicht kaufenswert ist, dann warte ich da wohl auch und hol mir stattdessen lieber First Blood oder Star Trek V kaufen, mal abwarten.

Home Alone hab ich nicht, daher der Pflichtkauf überhaupt.
